		Because some have complained about our beliefs that: 1) the New Testament is the sole authority for the Christian with regard to his faith and practice, 2) the penitent believer must be baptized in water to be saved is saved and 3) the Christian is no longer obliged to keep the Sabbath (the 7th day) holy, we offer he following propositions for an honorable discussion. **** Resolved: Since the death of the apostles the Scriptures commonly known as the New Testament contain the only reliable source of information the world has regarding Jesus and the beliefs and practices of the apostolic church.
